Happy Friday! I hope you all had wonderful weeks!
This Friday I’m talking about the play, Peter and the Starcatchers by Rick Elice.
While it is hardly anything like the book series it’s based off of, I love how it still has the essence of Peter Pan. I love how it is staged as an ensemble piece with hardly any set and the actors form the locations with their bodies and props are minimal approximations. It really is like a group of people playing pretend. It has all the humor of the original Peter Pan and also that latent sadness that comes when you realize that you have to grow up, but Peter never will.
