Happy Friday!
This week I’d like to share The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis!
I read this series when I was in middle school and it left me with so many fond memories. It’s one of those classic tales of adventure and I really enjoyed the fact that we got to see the tales through multiple points of view. It made it fresh to have a different set of heroes in just about every book. My personal favorite is The Magician’s Nephew because I love a good beginning and I wish that Digory and Polly had more book adventures. If you haven’t read these books yet, you really should.
I love this series!

They were so fun to read! I’m forever going to be upset about Susan though!

I know! She really disappointed me, especially because I identified with Susan the most closely, and then she lost the magic! It really bothered me.

I did too! I think if I had read it in elementary school I would’ve connected with Lucy, but Susan was the closest in age to me and I also always identify with older siblings!

I definitely identify with the older sibling thing- but I also just couldn’t connect as well with Lucy’s blind faith. Well, not blind, but she has so much more faith, and I’m a bit more evidence-based.
