Happy Friday everybody! I hope you’ve had an amazing week!
This Friday I’m presenting you with another classic, Save Me the Waltz by Zelda Fitzgerald.
If you plan on reading Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald, read it before you read Save Me the Waltz because Zelda’s work about living in France is infinitely better than Scott’s. There is just something so natural and fluid about Zelda’s writing and I wish that she had lived in a time where she could’ve have been encouraged more. I think this novel really gives an insight as to who she was as a person and how she viewed the world around her. Reading Save Me the Waltz is like reading a person’s memories/dreams because each moment blends into the next in that weird way that dreams blend. Please if you have room on your TBR save a spot for an under-appreciated author!
